We develop concepts for sustainable regional economic development. At present, our initiatives focus on three main areas.
ECONOMY
We want to develop the region’s economic complexion for the better by convincing both companies in early stages of development and already established companies to settle and grow here. Opened in 2015, Werkstätte Wattens is the first significant step in achieving this goal.
APPLIED RESEARCH
In close cooperation with the Tyrolean government, we were able to establish a branch of Europe’s largest organisation for applied research, Fraunhofer, in Wattens. In addition to locations in Vienna and Graz, their innovation centre for “Digital industrial transformation” acts as a bridge between research and entrepreneurial innovation according to the Industry 4.0 model.
EDUCATION
Education is the future. The project “Bilingual Education - English from Small to Big” is a fun and effective way to teach children English. In cooperation with the region’s leading educational institutes, the mid-term goal is to also to expand the offerings to higher education in order to have an even bigger impact on the linguistic acumen and job readiness of people in Tyrol and Wattens.
